About Me
I am an artist from Hertfordshire, who creates contemporary abstract art with an emotional heart. My work often weaves together colour, texture (lots of texture!) words, and sometimes familiar shapes and figures that blur the line between abstraction and storytelling. I paint quickly and spontaneously, working extensively with palette knives and trowels...rarely a paint brush!
For me, art is about feeling something real with each piece designed to spark an emotion or conversation whether this be in your home, a creative space or just a place of reflection.
Beyond the canvas, I have always been involved in the arts in one way or another. Whether I was dancing, playing drums in a band (badly!), running a musical theatre company or watching my son Alex (an actor), enjoy his career, the creative juices have always been flowing!
